Anyone is welcome to get in touch about volunteering. No previous skills or experience are required, we will teach you anything you need to learn.

The day usually runs from 10.30 am until 4.00pm and we will provide lunch. Past projects have included:

• ​Building a composting toilet

• Shingle (Oak tile) making

• Scything

• Processing felled trees with axes 

• Bark peeling (and other woodwork processes)

• Erecting gates

• Himalayan balsam pulling (an invasive species easy to pull up)

• Fence repairs

• Coppicing / Pollarding trees
